Gruppo CAP receives award for Best Italian Public Utility

APE member Gruppo CAP has surpassed important, private operators such as Acea, A2A, Hera and Iren to clinch the first prize at this year’s Top Utility Analysis awards.
The decision was taken by a network of independent experts who analyze and rate the overall social, environmental and economic performance of public utilities. The theme of this years’ edition was that of technology for urban development.

In 2010, the United Nations General Assembly recognised access to drinking water and sanitation as a fundamental human right in its resolution A/RES/64/292. In 2013, the European Citizens’ Initiative (ECI) Right2Water asked the European Commission to propose legislation implementing the human right to water and sanitation, as recognised by the United Nations.

Paris becomes a “Blue Community”

World Water Day | APE Members’ events

Since the United Nations General Assembly designated the 22 March 1993 as the first World Water Day, the day has been celebrated every year to raise awareness about water-related issues.
